BEECHER, Ill. -After winning back to back championships, Dale Creasy will defend his titles in 2008 with a slight change of scenery. Creasy will continue to carry the Torco Racing Fuels branding - this time in black and on the teams new Chevrolet Impala SS Funny Car body.
"Everything we've earned over the past two seasons has been because of Evan Knoll and Torco Race Fuels," Creasy said as he prepared for the Knoll Gas Nitro Jam season opener, April 4-6 at the Amalie Oil Texas Nationals in San Antonio, Texas. Although the Creasy Family Motorsports team won't be officially sponsored by Torco Race Fuels, Creasy couldn't think of running anything else on his car this season. "Evan has done so much for us. We wouldn't be where we are at without him. I couldn't see us running any other decal on our car."
"We're excited about the new look and the new body," Creasy said while enjoying the off season preparing for the Knoll Gas Nitro Jam season opener April 4-6 at the Amalie Oil Texas Nationals in San Antonio, Texas. "It looks fast standing still."
The classic Torco look was created by Mick Snyder and designed by Jef Caudle Designs. GO Graphix will produce and install the graphics.
"We've had this body for about eight months," Creasy said. "The Impala SS has a sleek look and we can't wait to get it on the track."
